Are there any updates for Metallics, Pastels, and Neons?
No, these product lines remain unchanged. No new colors were added, and the covers are the same as before.
Can I apply protective coatings?
Yes, the colors printed in the latest guide are fully compatible with water-based coatings, UV coatings, and overprint varnishes.
What materials and printing techniques are used?
• Printing: All guides and graphics books are printed using state-of-the-art offset lithographic technology.
• Paper: The paper weight and quality remain unchanged (148 g/m² for the coated version and 118 g/m² for the uncoated version).
How are the new base inks made?
Solid colors are mixed using 11 base inks (compared to the previous 18). The big news is that they are formulated with vegetable oils and bio-renewable resources, and are completely barium-free.
Why does uncoated paper sometimes show small white dots?
When using offset printing on uncoated paper, it is completely normal for tiny white dots to appear. This is an expected effect that does not affect the precision or color quality in any way.
