Format: Contains the Formula Guide (two compact, handheld fan decks) and Solid Chips Books (two three-ring binders). Includes two Paper Chip Savers to easily organize and store loose samples. The Chips Books contain all existing Pantone Spot shades as perforated, tear-out paper samples with three-sided color bleed, perfect for accurate color assessment. Each page displays up to seven Pantone shades, with six separate 1.2” x 0.8” chips per color. Every shade is printed on standard industry paper weights (100 lb coated and 80 lb uncoated). A Lighting Indicator page within the Formula Guide highlights whether current lighting is optimal for assessing color accurately.
Color: Updated with 294 fresh, trend-driven graphics shades, bringing the total to 2,161 spot colors. Every shade is presented with its specific title or digit; the Formula Guide also provides ink mixing formulas. Colors are organized chromatically, with the newest shade pages highlighted at the upper corners and blended throughout the guides. Indexes located at the rear of the guides and the front of the books offer a numerical guide to find each color. The targeted tolerance is <2dE relative to our master standard data.
